It is a strong waterproof tear ribbon that has a rough bumpy texture and looks like a real leaf. Very economical and allows the florist to prepare vases well in advance. The Aspidistra leaf is a very popular leaf that many florists use as filler or as a clear vase liner to conceal foam or stems.
